but I can't for the life of me think why to use nariz here.
Maybe it's like "comer como una lima" and is just weird (eat like a file)

Maybe it's a less vulgar way to express frustration.
Like, I say "Rats!" or "Fiddlesticks!" instead of other more vulgar words.
