A conciencia VS a propósito

Never heard "A conciencia" until today.

Lo ha hecho a conciencia. Seems less used but mean the same as a propósito (when used at the end of a sentence to mean "on purpose"?)

Gracias.

To me "hacer algo a conciencia" means "to do something with determination". Of course, if you do it with determination, you must be doing it on purpose. But I think they have different meanings.

A bit like our 'conscious decision' I think - I made a conscious decision not to see him again.

a consciencia efectuar una acción luego de haberla evaluado minuciosamente Fue una decisión a consciencia dejar de estudiar.

It's like conscientiously, not consciously. - lorenzo9, Aug 16, 2011
