"Los colores son una creación.."
Can anyone translate this ?
Edit: Can anyone explain why they put "de" when they mean "in" ?
Or why there is a "que" following "hace" which is not translated?
And why does "un neurocientifico" follows "a la BBC" when it's "explains a neuroscientist to the BBC" ? ![]()
Los colores son una creación, quizás la más exquisita, del cerebro humano, le explicó a la BBC un neurocientífico. Y la percepción del color hace que todos veamos el mundo de una forma distinta.

Spanish uses different prepositions than English. Although specific situations require specific prepositions, there is no logical explanation for which one to use in either language.
The phrase "hace que (person) (subjunctive verb)" is the construct in Spanish corresponding to "make (person) (verb)" in English.
The placement of the subject is more flexible in Spanish than in English.
Ccolors are a creation, maybe the most exquisite creation, of the human brain, explained a neuroscientist to the BBC. And the perception of color makes us see the world in a distinct way.
