Puede que no sea posible.

Puede ser que no sea posible.

Puede que se vayan ahora.

Puede ser que se vayan ahora.

So "Puede que" is enough for "it could be that" and that ser is not needed at all? "Puede ser que........"

"Puede que......"?

Does this always work like that?

Gracias.

I wish somehad answered this question. I have the same question too. Here is a sentence from a newspaper article:

En tercer lugar, puede que nos esperen crisis climáticas más graves.

here, it's "puede que" not "puede ser que" . Either way must be ok, huh?

Puede que = he/she/it is able to (can)

Podría que = he/she/it could be able to (could)

Podría ser que = he/she/it could be that

I am not a native speaker so I may be all wet.
