Why can't I download video into Realplayer? Solution found

Hi Guys

I need some advice.

I have just changed to Windows 7, from Vista, - and of course nearly all my carefully backed up programs no longer work.

So I downloaded Realplayer again but now can not save anything (from YouTube for example) into Realplayer.

Any ideas why?

Thanks a lot.

Ian

You probably had the old real player you tube download program 2.6 something that allowed you to download you tube videos. I wish I had it because I can't download anything from you tube either Now I may be wrong, but I got the idea that there was something with copyright laws so you tube made everything not downloadable fairly recently. I am frequently wrong, but do some research and you will see that many people have this problem now even with videos that aren't copyrighted

I can't guarantee this answer, but I have the same problem and have been investigating and not come up with a solution either.
