I assume that you have the Spanish keyboard layout shown in the 1st picture where the # sign is not vistible.

'#'=Alt 35 (also ascii key number) '#' [editor keeps interpreting it & # 3 5 no spaces)

I would find a key containing a symbol that you do not use very often and re-assign that code to that key. I would tell you how to assign codes to a key, but I don't know which OS that you use.

Are you referring to the hash symbol? (#) It depends on the Spanish keyboard, because there are many different ones with different configurations. In the one I'm using, it is Alt Gr + 3.
