introducciónes or introducciones
Dear Spanishdict.com users, I am new here and I' m trying to learn Spanish but today I decided to see lesson 1.1 in English. The title is "Los saludos y las introducciónes". Nothing special but I am confused because according to Spanish Grammar reference/Nouns/singular&plural;/ "Nouns that end in a weak stressed vowel (í or ú) retain their tildes in the plural form. Nouns that end in strong stressed vowels (á, é, ó) drop the tildes." What is the case with the title - a typing mistake or there is something else that is not mentioned in the rule? Thank you in advance.

Let me give you another example with "marrón".
When you make it plural, it is "marrones".
Why no accent?
Because, since it ends in an "S", the stress is already over the second-last syllable.
"Marrónes" would be pronounced the same way, but the accent is unnecessary, and like Lazarus said, just plain wrong.
Different word, same concept.
"Introducciónes" is plain wrong. Period.
When the word ends with "n" or "s" the stress is on the last but one syllable, that's why here we put an accent "introducción" , because then it would be this way : "introd`uccion". But in plural it is "introducciones" wtihout stressed "O" because now that "O" is inside that last but one syllable.
