Una de las mejores películas de todos los tiempos,
As one of our companions mentioned this theme as a grammatical question, I should like to raise the issue as a cultural one : according to your opinion which are the best movies of all time. For my part my vote is: Casablanca and The Dictator from Chaplin .

Blade Runner is the finest movie ever made. The struggle to live, does it make you evil? Just to be alive for a few minutes longer, don't we all deserve to live?
He visto cosas que vosotros no podríais creer.

I would go, maybe, for the best 30 movies or so. It is too hard to find THE best one.
" It's a wonderful life." Jimmy Stewart. Yeah.
My vote would be for one which is unknown and was a real flop at the theaters, Far From the Madding Crowd.
It was John Schlesinger's 1967 adaptation of the book starring Julie Christie, Terence Stamp, Peter Finch, and Alan Bates.
I've read thousands of books in my days and hated every movie adaptation. This one, however, was exactly as I pictured it in my mind reading the book![]()
The opening scene was masterfully done and each scene following captured perfectly the characters, while still telling the story faithfully.
I'll never understood why no one else has ever mentioned it to me![]()
So there's my opinion, which will get the "Least Known Award!" ![]()
Gone with the Wind! It has War, slavery, peace, love hate, betrayal, bravery, nobility, selfishness, selflessness, the human condition etc. A truly great movie!

"Dances with Wolves" would be my favorite based only on how many times I have watched it . Otherwise it is almost impossible to determine.
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my favorites. As Terri said it's rare to find a good adaptation from a book but this is both true to the originally story and beautifully cast.
Chaplin's Modern Times is amazing. The scene where he goes through the cogs of the machine is unforgettable.
Many of the films by Kurosawa, Bergman and Buñuel come to mind.
My favorite is "The Godfather". It is a story of violence, but also a tragedy for those who didn't want to be a part, but believed they were obligated.
Unfortunately, I can't go to a baptism without thinking of the scenes mixed between the ritual and finishing of "the family business".
(Corrections are welcome. I'm sure I continue to have grammatical and other errors. Thanks in advance.)
Boy, what a tall order!
Best movie of A L L time. I can think of many that I've liked, and watch several times, but the best one....hmmmmmmm
As a lawyer, I loved 12 Angry Men (Peter Fonda) and I can watch that several times before I get bored.
