What is the Spanish word for barista, the person who serves coffee at Starbucks and other cafes? Today in a Rosetta Stone online session, my teacher couldn't think of the word!

Hola!

I agree with Jack...use "barista"!

Read here!

Interestingly, it has Italian origins for "barmaid".

"Barista" is "barista" in many languages. So in case you ever have to say "barista" in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Russian, you now know how!!
