"Six months old"

In Spanish, if you were to say a very small baby is "six months old" or "nine months old", how would you say it?
Would it be just like you normally express age using "tener"?
El bebé tiene dos meses. ---> The baby is two months old.
Las gemelas tienen dieciocho meses. ----> The twins are eighteen months old.
