Can anyone tell me what "Abrázame" means? I can't find it in the dictionary. I got that word from a song. I understand all the other words. Here it is, for context.

Si es amor, Abrázame con ganas

Si no lo es, tal vez será mañana

Estando juntos mi mundo se llena de luz

Lo mejor de mi vida eres tú

Hi smile "abrázame" means "hug me".

"Abraza" is the tú command from "abrazar" (to hug) and "me" means "me" wink.

Abrázame means hug me!

If it's love, hug me with desire

If it isn't, maybe it will be tomorrow

Being together my world is full of light

The best (part) of my life is you.

It means "hug me" in the familiar command form. (abrazar is the verb with "me" attatched so you know who is being hugged)

When translating this type of passage, we need to take care to avoid direct word-for-word phrases that may sound odd, so I would say it in a slightly different way, although Jeremias is not incorrect:

Si es amor, Abrázame con ganas If it's love, hold me tight

Si no lo es, tal vez será mañana If it isn't, maybe tomorrow it will be

Estando juntos mi mundo se llena de luz Being together fills my world with light

Lo mejor de mi vida eres tú The best part of my life is you
