problem with lessons

I recently started viewing SpanishDict in Spanish. After that, whenever I do the Spanish lessons, it goes through the video with Paralee teaching Spanish, then goes into the lessons using all English. Does anyone have any clue as to what is going on with that?

Well since you're using the site in Spanish, the system assumes that you're learning English, therefor all the flashcards are going to be teaching you English, makes sense, no?

I thought it would be something like that, but I did click on the Spanish lessons, which Paralee taught. That's why I don't understand. - MrSillyInc, Aug 12, 2011

Your flashcard lessons are loaded according to your page language. If your page is in Spanish the cards will show Spanish prompts and you will be given English answers to choose from. It is just some programmer's trying to anticipate your needs. If your page is in English you get English prompts and Spanish answers to choose from.

It used to be worse. Now, at least, when you go to the lessons tab you go to a page where you select Learn English or Learn Spanish. Previously, it just assumed that if you page was in Spanish that you wanted to go to the Learn English section and sent you there. You just have to manually override its automatic assumptions.

I have my browser set to Spanish also. When I google, it looks for articles in Spanish, then in English. That's fine when I am in SpanishDict, but a pain when I am somewhere else. You can't win for trying. It would be nice if there were a language check box for each search that you enter, but that's not how it works.
