Confusing English Words Challenge 26

Algunas palabras en inglés pueden crear confusion en los principiantes.

Some words in English can be confusing for learners.

This one is to practice the following -Wine – vineyard - vintner

Both native Spanish and English speakers may answer - but write both Spanish and English sentences.

I would appreciate some help in checking the Spanish sentences.

Agradecería una cierta ayuda en la comprobación de las oraciones españolas.

I will "accept" the best effort after about a week

Every attempt will get a vote.

NOTE - we would normally need 2 sentences in both languages that illustrate how the the following are used. It can be done in one sentence.

a) wine

b) vineyard

c) vintner

Futher explanation as to the different meanings may be given.

Please do not suggest new words.

Well done everyone !

Here is the next one

I learned something new today. A vintner is someone who makes or sells wine.

Aprendido una palabra nueva hoy. Un vinatero es alguien que hace o vende vino.

My childhood home was in an old vineyard and orchard. It was a wonderful place to grow up.

Casa de mi infancia era en un antiguo viñedo y un huerto. Era un lugar maravillosa para crecer.

My sentences are with a lot of mistakes .

When we approached the village ,we saw wonderful vineyards with amber -coloured bunches of grapes.

Cuando nos acarcamo la aldea vimos vinedos maravilloso color ambar racimos de uvas .

The vintner looked after his vineyard, as if it was (were) his child.

El vinatero se ocupaba de su vina todos los dias como si fuera si hijo.

French wine has a special aroma.

Vino frances (tiene) un aroma especial.

I know here are so many mistakes
