Someone called me a "muchachona". I don't know what it means...

It means "girl" basically. We like to throw weird modifications on our words to make them sound more interesting. You could think of it as if someone said "coolio" as opposed to just "cool" in English.
The actual word used here would be "muchacha."

Muchachona is an augmentative for muchacha the translation will be big girl but i think muchachona was used in a less standard spanish if i am correct it means you are very pretty or you have some attributes that light up his admiration
