This is intended for English learners, but hey, whoever wants to take a shot can go for it!

How can you make 30 cents using two (American) coins, and one cannot be a nickel?

You must be familiar with American currency:

A penny = 1 cent

A nickel = 5 cents

A dime = 10 cents

A quarter = 25 cents

Please explain your answer - and no cheating!!!!

Good idea for a challenge, Kiyan!

Let's see.

Two coins, but one cannot be a nickel. Does that mean neither can be a nickel? Because one could be a quarter, and one could be a nickel. But that one that is the quarter could be the one that's not a nickel. Does that make any sense? Am I just babbling here?
