What is a motor club or auto club in Spanish?

By "motor club" I mean things like AAA (Triple A), which is a company that offers free or discounted towing, battery replacement, locksmith and other services for car owners for a flat annual fee.

Well, it's a phrase in a comic book story. I just wanted to translate it. But, yeah, all my searches online resulted in finding automóvil clubes that were basically associations of people who really loves cars or racing or something.

So, if I am understanding you guys correctly, you're saying it can't be translated. Surely it can somehow, though. Even if the concept doesn't exist in Spanish-speaking countries, we have Spanish-speakers who live in the United States.

These clubs do exist, but they are for enthusiasts - not for towing and repairs.

Club automovilístico

In Mexico on toll highways, there is a mobile service that patrols constantly. You can recognize them by their green and white trucks.

so they are not really like AAA or that concept. More like 'classic car clubs'....etc... - toothpastechica, Aug 10, 2011
from the AAA website "Due to differences in service concepts and operating philosophies between AAA clubs and motor clubs elsewhere, the level of services you can expect from AAA may not be offered by other motor clubs around the world." - Jack-OBrien, Aug 10, 2011

In most of latin america they would think you are crazy if you started asking for something like this, it simply does not exist. Being that is AAA (American Association of Autos....) I would either ask them if they have a spanish branch, or maybe they have this concept in Spain. But as far as I know its a pretty american concept.
