I'm translating a description of a movie a friend has made into Spanish. It is about thousands of corroded copper urns containing the cremated remains of unclaimed psychiatric patients at a hospital in Oregon.

The director wouldn't be the Dane Lars von Trier would it? - Sound like his type of film. - ian-hill, Aug 10, 2011

Would that be oxidada ? Urna is feminine. - pesta, Aug 10, 2011
Right: Urna oxidada de cobre. - LuisCache, Aug 10, 2011
Either way. You can say the copper is oxidized or the urn. - gintar77, Aug 10, 2011

It does. When it turns green, that's the first signs of corrosion. - pesta, Aug 10, 2011
But is it corroding or just de-composing or is that the definition of corrosion? - ian-hill, Aug 10, 2011
