How do I translate "the above referenced case" or "the above referenced number/position/issue?" antes mencionado sounds odd to me.

above-referenced, above-mentioned = susodicho, sobredicho
aforementioned = antedicho
You can also say things like escrito arriba, ya mencionado, mencionado antes.
