Does despacio or lento mean slow?
Despacio and lentamente are adverbs meaning slowly.
Lento,-a is an adjective meaning slow.
Just as happens in English, lento (and pronto) are adjectives that get used as adverbs. However I believe in Spanish this is a correct usage, whereas to say
He drove real slow
is not yet correct English. It's getting there, though. Lentamente.
