I know i translates to "Everything comes out wrong" but I have an issue understanding the word "sale", is it a conjugated word or what ?

"Sale" is the 3rd person singular of the present indicative of "salir" (come out/off), i.e. literally, "it comes out". However, a better translation would be something like "Things didn't work out well for him/her", as this verb is used to indicate the outcome of things.
