How do you say "don't be a stranger"?

like in "so please don't be a stranger and stay in contact..." in spanish that is 
it would be great if you can help me with this (not for school so don't worry, just in a personal letter)

The phrase does not translate, however you can "no te pierdas"; or "no te desaparezcas".

I think you can also say ¡No te cuelgues! Not sure about this one but how about No te hagas (tan) escaso.
