What does "alzo mi copa de vino" mean?

I want to make a toast at my daughter's wedding. Here is what someone suggested: "Alzo mi copa de vino para cantrarle al amor. El sabor del amor es el del vino y no puede tener mejor sabor. Salud!" Is this correct?

I believe it should be "cantarle".
I raise my glass of wine to sing the praises of love. The taste of love is that of wine and it cannot have a better taste. Cheers!
