Jean + leggings = jeggings

According to American Eagle, "looks like a jean, feels like a legging".

Normal jeans are about 98% cotton with a touch of Spandex. Jeggings tend to have cotton, polyester, modal, sometimes nylon, and spandex.

Some stores sell them in colors other than various denim washes.

They are basically skinny jeans, but people can actually move in them
