comitar means to vomit?

I have noticed that where I am from in Southern Texas people say comitando instead of vomitando, is this wrong?
maybe I'm not hearing them right?

Perhaps you are mistaking the "V" sound for a "C" sound?

I think the more likely case is that you misheard vomitando. It would be an easy mistake.
