What is "birlibirloque"?

I found this in the phrasebook:

by magic | por arte de birlibirloque

But I don't really know what the word "birlibirloque" means. When you go to the dictionary entry, it just has "por arte de birlibirloque" as the definition. Can anybody shed some light on what the word birlibirloque for me?

Thanks!

Ah, thank you! That makes a lot of sense! - brianelliottlavoie, Aug 6, 2011
This is the best answer but please explain the meaning in English for the new learner and it was a little hard for me also. - foxluv, Aug 6, 2011
Abracadabra is a saying magicians say when they perform a magic trick. For example, if a magician has a top hat, he'd say abracadabra and then pull a rabbit out of it. It's the most popular "magic word" in English. "Birlibirloque" is the equivalent. - brianelliottlavoie, Aug 6, 2011
