If some one ask you "¿Cómo eres?" you can say "Soy alta", or if asking about a girl you can say "ella es alta". Sorry for my english, I'm begginer.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

I agree what the others have to say...to sum it up:

Ella es alta = She is tall

¿Cómo eres? = What are you like? (tall, friendly, black/white)

Welcome to the forum!

"eres" is the second person present tense (familiar) of the verb "ser". If I read the sentence and question correctly, "Ella" refers to a third person.

"Ella es alta".

Since "es" is the third person present tense of the verb "ser".

I'm not sure about the question "como eres". ¿Cómo está? is normally "How are you?" If someone asked me "¿Cómo eres?", I don't know what they are asking.

She also says that you can say, "¿Cómo es?" - MrSillyInc, Aug 5, 2011
¿Cómo eres? = What are you like? - gintar77, Aug 5, 2011
Thanks. I understand that, but the question is so broad I would not know how to answer. :) - 0066c384, Aug 5, 2011
