I recently came across this example sentence:

'la casa donde habita una mujer es un hogar'

The house where a woman lives (inhabits) is a home.

Is it more correct to say,

'la casa donde habita una mujer sea un hogar'?

Is it more correct to say,

'la casa donde habita una mujer sea un hogar'?

The main sentence is "La casa... es un hogar". The verb of the main sentence always declares, so it is always indicative. You can't use "sea" here -it would make no sense.
