¿Qué....? in a question usually means What? Quiero saber qué es..... (indirect question)

¡Qué.....! in a exclamation usually means How....! or What a ....!

que (relative pronoun use to introduce a subordinate clause) usually means "that", but can also mean which, who or what depending on the context.

They are diacritical words (pronounced and spelled the same (except for the accent mark).

The Qué may be intoned more just because it is in starts a question or exclamation similar to how we do it in English.

"Que" is pronounced unstressed, as if it was part of a different word.

"Qué" is pronounced stress, i.e. raised frequency, often accompanied by higher intensity.

qué with the accent is used when it's a question. Further Por qué as a question is two words.

que without the accent is closer to why something____ or in sentences such as , the one that____ and is porqué is the answer - why something_____
