Esto hacemos, right?

Could "esto hacemos" ever be like "that (this) is what we are doing"? Like "find the ring!" ¡Buscan el anillo! ........ Esto hacemos.... That would have to be eso es lo que hacemos right? Otherwise it's like "This is what we do" right?

This is what we do = esto es lo que hacemos.

Esto hacemos, better, esto haremos. Let's do this, we can do this, we will do this.

You can use both of them, esto hacemos or esto es lo que hacemos. And you can use/add the relative pronoun esto or eso too. You are not going to change the meaning you are using in the sentence you are trying to say. Regards...
