Help me for I am lost!
Hello There,I am in a spot of bother here. This "Café" is such a huge place,and I have ended up getting lost. Maybe ,I am going senile? ,but i am trying to thank all who have made me feel welcome. It was indeed a nice surprise,. But as i am unfamiliar with my bearings,I cannot remember,which part of the "Café",that, I had sat down to write ,my question,plus, do not know ,where to meet ,to thank people personally. Am I making any sense? I thought not?

Hello Jadine,
I have changed the category of your Answer. Yes, the website is vast, and the International Café just one part of it.
If you explore, for a start, all the Tabs along the top of the page (Learn Spanish, Flashcards, Answers etc), I'm sure you'll gradually get more of a feel for it.
Reading the Rules and Guidelines will be helpful too.
It's great that you are just plunging in, I hope you stay.
I've never been to the Café so I can't tell you how it is organized. I can give you some general recommendations, however,
To find the thread quickly either:
go to your profile page
or use the tabs that rearrange the order or sort threads. Try my questions or my answers
Those shortcuts help you find threads. They do not help you to navigate within the thread, however.
As I said, I have never visited the café and have no idean how it is organized, but in the future I would suggest this workaround:
If you wish to go back to a specific reply (yours or anyone elses) save the url of the specific answer in the thread. You can, at least, then get back to where you were in the cafe.
Another recommendation is: if you are in the Café thread:
switch how the replies are sorted: since you weren't there too long ago you should be able to find your last reply.
Here is a link to your reply made 9 hours ago. I found it by going to the Café and then changing the sort order for reply from by vote to newest. Since your reply had received 5 votes it was very near the top of the replies.
Wow, great answer by quentin, when ever you post something, jadine, just click on "newest" on the thread, I always check for new entries on the thread and so do many people here
