How do I say alumnus / alum in Spanish? Lots of potential for confusion with alumno - a current student. I need to know how to describe a person who has already graduated from a school.

Good question! Yes, false cognates can be very confusing. - gintar77, Jul 30, 2011

How about ex-alumno?

SpanishDict says "antiguo alumno" and my Oxford says "ex-alumno."

Maybe a native knows something better.
