Organizado

organized; planned, packaged

DO NOT use the translator!! ¡No usar el traductor!

Work must be done by yourself.
This thread is about YOUR ability not the ability of the translator. wink

Post your sentences in Spanish and English, then vote for the ones you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes and language correctness.

These threads are kindly moderated by StephenTrevor’s. Please correct your posts according to StephenTrevor’s indications and suggestions smile.

Posts which will not be corrected or accepted:
• Captions with 3 words or less
• Paragraphs with more than 4 lines
• Posts which cannot be understood it is read three or four times
• Posts which consist mainly of lyrics or idioms which do not translate.
• Captions copied directly from books or other sources.
• Multiple posts from one person, or those who don't write the sentences in both English and Spanish.
• Remember to use the Word of the Day in a typical Spanish sentence. This is great practice for you and for everyone that reads the thread to see how the Word of the Day could be used in a sentence.

Remember to correct your posts as suggested or they can NOT be "accepted".
Do not use subject pronouns in Spanish. (You'll be sent to the dunce corner!)
Please refrain from overloading with graphic content (ie; bold smileys, etc). It makes it harder for the correctors to be able to read your posts…. )

My Example:

En mi casa, soy muy organizado, y todo tiene su lugar. Sin embargo, en el trabajo, estoy muy ocupado, y desgraciadamente, mi escritorio no está muy organizado.

At home, I am very organized, and everything has its place. However, at work, I am very busy, and unfortunately, my desk is not very organized.

We are quite a big company and that is why we have especially organized the party for our staff here. We don’t want to run out of ice cubes! cool smile

Somos una compañia bastante grande y por lo tanto hemos organizado nuestra fiesta para el personal especialmente aquí. ¡No queremos quedarnos sin cubitos de hielo!

English should be, "...therefore, that's why...". Without "that's" it forms an unintended question. Hola, Inge! - pesta, Jul 29, 2011
Yo queria mas alcohol que agua :D:D:D muy divertido Inge :) - esteban87, Jul 29, 2011
Pesta, you are right. At first I had written "and that is why", but then I thought "therefore" was better. However, I have changed it quite carelessly. Thanks for telling me :) - Ingeteacher, Jul 29, 2011

Who said, that human beings are the cleverest in this world? Be careful! Sometimes animals might also be very well organized in their actions.

¿Quién dijo que los humanos son los más listos en el mundo? ¡Ten cuidado! A veces los animales podrían ser muy bien organizados en sus acciones también.

that's disgusting:) - Yeser007, Jul 29, 2011
You are translating this in a very literal sense that results in a slightly awkward construction "Ojalá tuviera/Quisiera tener un garaje..." - StephenTrevor, Jul 29, 2011
My next door neighbor's garage looks just like this, I'm not kidding. - amykay, Jul 29, 2011
Stephen, this member is proud to see his sentences are just like the translator's:P - 00494d19, Jul 29, 2011
Thanks, Stephen! I'll edit when I get on a computer. Hard to do on my phone. - Tosh, Jul 29, 2011
Yes, I'm SO proud to have my post erased everyday, and being accused of using a translator when I have never done so even once for a daily thread. - Tosh, Jul 29, 2011

...a trip TO see the pYramids... - StephenTrevor, Jul 29, 2011
Is it wrong to use "tengo" in the type of sentence? - MadSkills, Jul 29, 2011
It depends on how you use it. "I have just organized..." doesn't become, "Tengo solo organizado," that's an incorrect (and too literal) translation. - StephenTrevor, Jul 29, 2011
Mad, check out the entire correction, you only fixed part of it. "Acabo de organizar unas vaciones para ver las pirámides en Egipto y estoy muy entusiasmado". - StephenTrevor, Jul 29, 2011
Does it read correctly now? - MadSkills, Jul 29, 2011
"...a trip a see the pyramids..." " Acabo de organizar unas vacaciones para ver las pirámides en Egipto y estoy muy entusiasmado." - StephenTrevor, Jul 29, 2011
