"Correr" is the infinitive meaning "to run"
Click here for a complete conjugation of "correr".
"Corriendo" is the gerund (English equivalent to "-ing") for "correr".
Julia está corriendo - Julia is running.
Mi familia y yo estábamos corriendo cuando vimos el perro. My family and I were running when we saw the dog.
