What is my level of proficiency ?

Question

I know a lot of people wonder this, and I even sometimes wonder... I feel like I am bouncing back and forth between "beginner" and "intermedite".

Well, I recently stumbles upon a nice site that has some proficiency scales, and I just wanted to share.

So, where do you guys think you are? I think I am at about 1.

interesting scale...Makes my spanish look really good! I find it hard to believe that you would call someone who has "basic survival skills" intermediate...maybe high beginning, According to the scale you posted I would be at the top or one step away, but personaly i would probably call myself advanced.

So it's impossible to reach the highest level if you haven't been raised in a Spanish-speaking country...

i would assume the highest level would imply being able to do univeristy level spanish...not like learning spanish, but if you were able to attend a university in a spanish speaking country (in spanish of course) and do well... - toothpastechica, Jul 29, 2011
