I read everything I can find, rolleyes

answer the little I think I know well, tongue laugh

hope I get corrected (but not tooooo much!), sick

cry about how much I still don't know, shut eye

go away and sulk, grrr

practice reading and speaking from other websites, cool smile

then come home to SpanishDict and feed my SD addiction. smile

mostly myself...to muddle the waters rather than clarify. That's why I can claim the title, King of The Dunce Corner. - 0074b507, Jul 28, 2011
I laughed so hard when I read this, that it came out the other end. - territurtle, Jul 28, 2011

I mostly spend time on the forum, answer questions if I feel able, not often unless they are questions about English. I also do the daily threads, not every day but I do like them.

I have done some of the lessons, they are excellent but I am trying to concentrate on covering the stuff in my course books at the moment.

When I finish this course there will be a 3 month gap before the next one and I plan on using the lessons here to revise, and advance my skills a bit.

I have also asked for help with proofreading stuff I have written in Spanish, people are very helpful.

I use the translation quite a bit. I make up sentences in English and study the translation. Very valuable.

If you refer to the sentence translation feature, don't take it too seriously. It's often wrong. At best, you may get some ideas to pick up and try to use. - pesta, Jul 28, 2011
Good point pesta, but I like that there are 3 translations which gives me some insight, and yes ideas. - kenwilkes, Jul 29, 2011

I used to do the lessons only. When I finished with the 4 levels I fished around for more on the site and found the "Answers" and the chat. I've been having fun the last week or two reading and chatting.

I'm an answerer (or, well, I try to be, jeje...but somehow, I don't think I'm much help for Spanish since I'm a beginner!)

For questions about English, I feel like I can answer those pretty accurately and thoroughly, though!
