In English, when a woman is pregnant we can say 'how far along is she' to mean how far along in her pregnancy?
I think the Spanish equivalent might be 'de cuándo está'. Is this correct?

I would say "¿Cuánto (tiempo) lleva del embarazo / de embarazada?"

I think you mean ¿De cuánto está? You could perhaps use one of the following as an alternative:
- ¿Cuántos meses/cuántas semanas tiene (de embarazo)?
- ¿Qué tan avanzada está?/¿Qué tan avanzado está su embarazo?
