When using superlatives, how do I say " Subject is the -est out of"

I know when you use comparatives, you use this form "mas o menos + adjective + que" but what about superlatives when you want to say something is the best out of (a group)?

Please help! Thanks! smile

Both comparatives and superlatives use "más", but the latter also use the definite article:

Es más listo que Luis = He is smarter than Luis

Es el más listo de la clase = He is the smartest of the class

So "de la/el" is the answer to my question, right? I am confused... - QueenT26, Jul 27, 2011
I think you are right QueenT26- I believe that is how it is expressed in Spanish. - Acelata, Jul 27, 2011
