Will someone please explain the difference between "pared" and "muro?"

They both mean "wall" to be sure. However, I generally think of "pared" as a wall within a building that separates rooms and "muro" as either an exterior wall or a standalone wall like that which encloses a property or separates borders (like the Berlin Wall).

I will give it a try, There have been other threads on this, you might try a searchlink text as well.

Muro usually a block brick or stone exterior wall a wall around a garden or a wall around a property. also a retaining wall.

Pared usually a building wall interior or exterior or an interior wall dividing spaces inside a building.

I have heard both words used interchangeably. but for a final authority lets have native architect respond here
