lazarus thanks for your respond i mean that in many languages many prepositions are as prepositions of places for example and they can be used as prepositions of time as well and sometimes its not easy to explain how to use them - mia55, Jul 26, 2011

Mia - Mariana's sentences would be translated as: "It is five o clock in the morning." and "I work in the mornings." In each case, the bold words, "de" and "por" roughly mean "in" in English. I hope that answers your quesitons. ;-) - _Mateo_, Aug 1, 2011
