In telephone numbers, I'm used to doing it by two's (at least that's how I've heard Mexicans do it).
Entonces: tres noventa y dos, veinte trece, sesenta cuarenta y siete.

It's very easy. Typically is:
Trescientos noventa y dos - dos mil trece / seis mil cuarenta y siete.
Without symbols...
Treinta y nueve billones doscientos veinte millones ciento treinta y seis mil cuarenta y siete.... (hard, but it's true 
)
Only numbers.
Tres, nueve, dos - dos, cero, uno, tres / seis, cero, cuatro, siete.
