Saying thank you with encouragement

Saying thank you with encouragement

Good day,

I asked my friend Hugo to help me translate a phrase into Spanish.

When someone helps me a little bit,

In English it sounds like this;

Thank you, every little bit helps.

In Spanish we decided it might sound like;

Gracias, cada cosa pequeña ayuda.

Does that get the message across?

I don't know if there is a specific idiom for this, but I would find it more natural to say:

Cada poquito ayuda.

or you could say

Cada cosita ayuda

flows better then cada cosa pequeña auyda but has the exact same meaning.
