Spanish accents?
I've noticed a few different sounds in different regions of Spanish speaking, but I'm not sure what regions they belong to, and are there any other interesting ones that anyone can tell me about?
- Some people make a soft d or th sound on all their y's and ñ's, where is this from?
- Some people make a sound in the back of their throat on j's, others just make an english 'h' sound on j's.
- The lisping on z's and c's! I've heard that this is only in Madrid, but are there other places in Spain that do this?
My Spanish is pretty limited to Colombian, someone from a Dominican barrio in NYC, and a teacher from somewhere in Mexico (not sure where). Any other interesting accents/sounds from other regions?

Where I'm from (Santa Barbara, Honduras), the "y" or "ll" makes a "j" sound in English. We make the vowels deep and we talk with a constant flow with no high vocal jumps.
