My Example:

En la universidad, tuve que estudiar radicales. En aquel momento, no creía que los radicales fueren importantes.

He sido un ingeniero por 12 años, y nunca he usado ellos. Quizás, tenía razón….jejeje….(Sé que son importantes, solo estoy bromeando….)


In college, I had to study radicals. At that time, I didn’t think that radicals were important.

Sé que hacer ejercicio es muy bueno para la salud, pero esto me parece bastante radical . . . . . rolleyes

You can be radical in a good way or in a bad way Jesus Cristo was always radical in a good way and never advocated killing people.but commanded people to love their enemies.and demonstrated this during his life and especially at his death.

= Se puede ser ( o es posible ser) radical en un buen sentido o de una mala manera. Jesús Cristo siempre fue radical en buen sentido y nunca advocó por matar a las personas pero la gente al manda amar a sus enemigos y este demostró durante su vida y especialmente en su muerte.

Para dar un salto adelante con su aprendizaje de español, a veces se tiene que hacer algo radical. Un cambio de escena, un viaje, un descanso, un nuevo amigo, un chat de Skype, etc. ¡Algo radical!

In order to give oneself a leap ahead in spanish learning, at times one has to do something radical. A change of scenery, a trip, a rest, a new friend, a Skype chat, etc. Something radical!

La naturaleza nos da muchos ejemplos de cambios radicales. Aquí es uno de ellos donde un algo que es insignificante radicalmente pero lentamente se convierte en una mariposa increíble

It's not normal for a human to make such a radical change...especially when it occured overnight!
