When you say generalising comments like

"When you eat, you use a fork and a knife"

"when you speak (one speaks) you use your mouth."

Do you use subjunctive?

Cuando se coma, se use una tenedor y un cuchillo.

or is it indicative

Cuando se come se usa ..... etc.

Thanks guys smile

Sounds very similar to 0 conditional.

If you raise the temperature of water to 212°F at STP, it boils.

When or upon raising the temperature of water to 212°F at STP, it boils.

Zero conditional English

In the result clause, there can only be the present simple or imperative.

Do you use subjunctive?

Why? You are declaring something, so no, we use indicative.
