it depends on how do you want to say your question , if you want to ask ... where do you live then .... dónde vive usted ? in a formal way or Qué es su nacionalidad ? what is your nationality

De que país eres? might be the direct translation but the most common way to ask this question is to ask de dónde eres? (use es instead of eres to be polite)
