Do not use subject pronouns in Spanish. (You'll be sent to the dunce corner!)

My Example:

Each day that I don’t have to work, I take my dogs for a walk in the morning. It’s good for our health, and I have learned that two dogs are very strong when they want to chase a rabbit.

would 'walk the dog' be pasear al perro but sacar a pasear el perro be take the dog for a walk? Not trying to be picky as of course the meaning is really the same but just trying to get it straight in my head :) - Kiwi-Girl, Jul 22, 2011

I don't like to take my cat for a walk, and my cat doesn't like it either.

I loved to go for a sail when we lived on a tropical island in the Pacific.

Because it is too hot to work I think I'll take a drive to the beach and go scuba dive.

Editor's note: For those who may not know, ''raining cats and dogs'' is a funny English idiom meaning: to be raining heavily

Including Heidita's amendments:

Hoy hace sol.

It is sunny today. I think I will go for a walk with my little daughter when she returns home from school later.

voy a pasear - I will go for a walk - this periphrastic future, lol great name aye, ir+a+infinitive is quite handy for 'I will go' - Kiwi-Girl, Jul 22, 2011
although as you have it the present is often used in Spanish for near future actions :) - Kiwi-Girl, Jul 22, 2011
thank you so much kiwi. I think I am back to confusing things again lol. I first of all put 'ir a pasear' but then thought that 'pasear a' means to for walk (with someone). - billygoat, Jul 22, 2011

alt_text alt_text While taking your dog for a walk in the park you need to lead him on a leash and in a muzzle.
