Can you help me identify school supplies?

Question

I need some help. I will participate in a school supply give-away, and I need to know the common names for school supplies as they are called in Latin American countries.

I have found the following in the dictionary and on the forum. Do these look accurate?

El cuaderno – ring binder

La carpeta – spiral notebook

Ruler – la regla

Paper – el papel

I don't know how to make the following plural.

Pencils – el lapiz

Pens – el bolígrafo

Crayons – barra de cera

For scissors, I can't find the name for round-tipped or pointed

Las Tijeras – pointed or round-tipped?

What is "back pack" called? It is the pack used by students in the US to take books and materials home.

Tijeras de punta roma (tijeras con punta redondeada/round tipped)

At least in Mexico, I think you'll find that the spiral bound notebook with ruled paper in it is not cuaderno or carpeta, but la libreta.
