¿Nunca has visto cómo se agrupan los caracoles en las ramas de las plantas? Es que últimamente he estado viendo un montón de ellos así. Me preguntaba por qué actúan así... ¿es porque van a morir y quieren hacerlo juntitos? ... ¿Es porque quieren apreciar la vista desde esa altura?... no. Es simplemente porque en verano el suelo está caliente y como ya sabes los caracoles se desarrollan muy bien en lugares frescos y humedos. Así que escalan los tallos para refrescarse.

Did you mean 'ha sido' or 'he sido' - I have been?

and there seems to be something wrong with the 'porque los hacen esto'? I'm not sure why you have put the 'los' in there - is it meant to say 'I was wondering why they act this way'? I might be inclined to say something like - 'Me preguntaba por qué actúan así (o - de esta manera).

¿Es porque - this is part of your question so the question mark should go before 'es'.

Can someone help me with this message?

__Ahh, so we share a birthday. Same year? I confess, I have several years of college Spanish, didn´t use it for 15 years. Then started teaching high school Spanish 1 and 2. I just wanted to refresh my memory and keep in practice over the summer. I hope to be taking some upper level courses in the fall that will further prepare me for Spanish certification test. Oh, and I'm 5'9". Good luck in your studies. Bueno, nos compartimos el cumpleaños. ¿El mismo año? Tengo que confesar, tengo algunos años de Español en la universidad y no usalo por quince años. Entonces, lo empiezo enseñando Español en la escuela secundaria, nivels 1 & 2. Ya quiero a practicar durante el verano. Espero que tomar algunos cursos en el otoño como me hayo preparado adicionalmente para el examen de certificación. ¡Oh! Y soy 5'9" Que le vaya bien en su estudios.
