An Amazing True Story
Hi guys
This is a true story that I read in the newspaper a few days ago. For a reason unknown to me it still lingers in my head. The story happened in Kuwait.
A wedding, a very lavish one. The groom’s mother is happily dancing. The bride tells her groom “ask your mother to sit or leave, she’s making a scene”. The groom asks the DJ to stop the music, grabs the mic and says “Who would like to buy my mother?” Everyone is astounded! He goes again louder “who would like to buy my mother?” Deafening silence!
Then he says “I would!” He tells his bride “I divorce you” (It’s as simple as that in Islamic Sharia law) takes his mother’s hand and leaves the wedding hall.
A few days later, an old man approaches him and says “I heard your story and I don’t think I can find a better husband for my daughter, if you both agree, I’ll take care of all the expenses”. They did agree.
Moral of the story ( as I see it)
Spouses, girlfriends and boyfriends are replaceable, family members are not!
What do you think, the groom overreacted or he did the right thing?

Wow simply wow! I wasn't there and to make a statement on his actions via newspaper...not sure if I can do that but it is very interesting nonetheless...he stood up for his mother...sounds like a good guy!! 
You can tell a lot about a person by the way he treats his mother and father.
