Hay arañazos en el cofre de mi camioneta.

These are Mexican words for hood of a truck. They say it differently in different places.

I agree; this is exactly how it is used in Mexico.

Hay arañazos en el cofre de mi camioneta.

However, it should be noted that "cofre" really means the entire engine bay. So technically speaking, the hood is "La tapa del cofre" or "..... del motor."
